Indonesia …near future
One of the most populated countries
in the world is disintegrating. Regional independence movements have acquired advanced weaponry as the nation’s military
splits into competing factions. Escalating violence threatens innocent civilians and Western economic interests.
Intervention
is needed…..on a grand scale.
This is your chance to make some history of your own. Choose to fight for either
a member of a Joint Operations force, or as a member of an Indonesian rebel group. Either way it’s all about teamwork.
If you don’t work with your team, you’ll die out there.
Drivable vehicles……lots of them.
Use land, sea & air vehicles to your advantage. Pilot helicopters, command boats and drive fast attack vehicles with your
team on board, firing on the move. Use LCACs (Landing Craft Air Cushioned) or Chinook helicopters to transport teammates and
vehicles from island to island or across expansive terrain.
Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight! Choose your weapons
wisely! Pick from a vast armory of modern weapons and equipment to outsmart your enemy.
There’s strength in numbers
– play as a team and wage large scale multiplayer war online through NovaLogic’s online gaming service, NovaWorld,
or on a LAN.
Wish you were here…. enjoy the scenery while you’re at it, with unprecedented environments. Travel
on vehicles or on foot across super-foliated jungle terrains using the early morning sun glare to your advantage in combat,
or canopy coverage at dusk to remain undetected.
Friend or Foe? Play as a member of a Joint Operations force or fight for
independence as a member of the Indonesian rebel group, with a choice of weapons and vehicles at your disposal.
Factions
& Classes
In Joint Ops you can play as either a member of a Joint Operations force or as a member of an Indonesian
rebel group. The choice is yours. On either side you can also choose to play as one of a number of ‘classes’ in
the game each with unique weapons and abilities. We will be revealing each class over the coming weeks.
Weapons
Each
class has access to its own range of weapons, from stingers and M4s to frags & mortars. Check back for regular updates
and more information on each of these weapons.
Vehicles
Joint Ops allows you to drive, steer, and pilot a multitude
of land, sea and air vehicles assigned to each side. New vehicles will be revealed regularly over the coming weeks.
